About the university

Established in 1937, Azerbaijan University of Languages is a unique higher educational institution in Azerbaijan, specializing in the teaching of more than 20 foreign languages. ADU plays a leading role in combining Eastern and Western cultures, and is the first university in Azerbaijan to apply a flexible credit system under the Bologna Process, implement ECTS, and adopt international quality assurance standards.
